Hi Molliann!

Good to hear from you! I'm so glad you like it...and that you know who Bebe is! She is quite amazing and such fun. I love her use of color and the freedom in her work, too. It's quite an interesting change of pace. Sharron and I plan to take another workshop with her and study her 'ladies' this time.

I just got back from the Portland convention. I took two classes with my daughter...her first convention...and she had a blast! I also took a 'study' class with Cheri Rol...oils...still life...silver, apples and a doily. Defitinitely a change of pace for me but fun. Now I'd like to try it with Traditions.

Love it, Linda!  And I'm so jealous! <g>  Bebe Long is one of my favorite artists!  Her work inspired the redecoration of my bedroom, and one of my last oils was inspired from a note card she did.  I absolutely love her use of color, and freedom within her paintings.  How exciting that you got to study with her!

Yes, Neadeen, it is VERY different for me. The colors, the 'looseness' just everything. It still suprises me how much I enjoyed myself while painting it. Very fun and Colorful! This is what I think of when thinking of the Fun Side of Art...along with all the mixed media stuff out there. Textures, colors, ephermera...I haven't jumped into that sandbox yet!
